Life...A journey full of passing clouds

Looking back at the road left behind, I have come to understand that our journey on this earth is like a picturesque scene from a Monet painting; a scene from nature where sometimes the sky could be clear and bright with no clouds to obstruct our visibility, it could also be sunny but full of puffy clouds forming beautiful shapes in the sky or it could be grey and gloomy full of a rainy tempest.

Each scene represents times in our journey when we encounter situations and people that bring a special energy to match our vibration at a specific moment in our lives. Just like a sunny day, there are people who come into our life to bring us a sense of clarity, a sense of joy and calmness; these people usually have a good heart and they come to show us that life is nothing more than a playground. A playground where we can get loose and be a child again without worries of any kind, allowing life to envelop our being into a state of complete ecstasy.

A sky full of cotton-like puffy clouds forming beautiful shapes represents the people in our lives that come to show us how unique we all are. Just as those puffy clouds form beautiful shapes so do the people in our life create a vast planet full of individual souls with distinct traits that make us special and one of a kind. We are all beautiful beings put together on this planet to interact and learn from one another; our unique traits and talents combined can make us stronger as a human race. But unless we unite to share our common ground, the potential to give love and accept one another, we will always remain separate thus obstructing the path to a united world full of peace and joy. Learning to embrace the different shapes of the puffy clouds in our journey is the beginning of an amazing experience that can bring forth unimaginable lessons of self discovery and growth.

The rainy tempest is just a shift of energy, there are people who come into our experience and turn our world upside down creating the appearance of chaos and turmoil. These situations bring about the worse in us. The tempest brings out all of our emotions sadness, anger, loneliness, depression, and a sense of losing control. The rainy tempest as dismal as it may appear can also bring about the hidden courage we carry within; for sometimes it isn’t until we hit rock bottom that we realize that a change in our lives needs to take place and as a sudden ray of light shines upon our existence, the sun comes back out shining brighter than it ever did before the tempest bringing a sky full of unlimited possibilities and new experiences to rejoice upon.

Life is just a sky full of passing clouds; and just as the clouds, people come in and out of our life to share a moment in time when we are aligned with a specific soul to fulfill a purpose in our own path or the path of the people we come into contact with. Each time a cloud passes through our journey it takes a piece of our soul…a piece of our soul that will no longer return, leaving an empty space to be filled by a new passing cloud in the journey called life.

Living without Resistance

Author

As the days go by and life takes its course, we are faced with situations that could bring upheaval and discomfort in our lives causing us to feel out of place; thus bringing out emotional reactions from within our deepest core. During these times, it is important not to resist the situations because by doing so we can make the experiences more difficult for ourselves.

The best way to cope with the curve balls in our life is to allow them to unfold the way they do, observing calmly and accepting them for the lessons that they are bringing into our existence. I know how hard it is to do this since we are emotional beings and we are programmed at an early age to react and take control of every situation we encounter. But I have also been fortunate enough to see how life always comes full circle by fulfilling the purpose of its reason for being; the chaos in our lives always brings with it the lasting calmness after the storm.

Nothing in our existence takes place without having a special purpose, therefore why do we get so caught up and stressed out about not being able to control every aspect of our daily grievances? The answer is very simple. It’s because our ego’s defense mechanism is to resist the flow of our Divine guidance. Our ego always wants to control, loves drama and cannot conceive of the idea that our natural state of being is pure harmony and bliss. Therefore it creates ways to resist and block this well being from taking place, instead of just letting life take its course into a perfect state of being.

When we practice letting go of the resistance, we become free. Free of stress, free of emotional imbalance, free of control. We liberate ourselves to enjoy a life without expectations, open to receive what it has to offer. Life becomes a smooth sail and things just start falling back into place when we least expect it.

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing how all the pieces of the puzzle are always there, ready to be put back together when we allow the flow of life to freely move about our existence without us getting in our own way to a synchronized, blissful and perfect experience.

Practice the art of letting go of resistance; it is the most powerful tool we have in order to live a life full of love, harmony, and perfect order. Once you practice this way of living you will be amazed at the positive results and you will begin to feel a sense of gratitude and freedom that will allow you to be more connected to all that exists in a more conscious way.
