The 7 blooming stages of our soul

Author
Karla Solano

We are born on this earth to re-align our physical, emotional and spiritual selves. Once these 3 aspects of our lives are integrated into one, we finally become one with our Divine source; therefore allowing us to fully blossom as a divine being.

There are seven blooming stages that one must achieve during the path to enlightenment; each stage is represented by one quality of our Divine creator that we must overcome in order to reach a higher state of awareness.

The blooming process begins the moment we realize that we carry within us all the divine attributes of our creator. But unless we start living this truth, we won’t fully comprehend how perfect and free we really are.

Stage No. 1 Love & Compassion
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the pink color and by the rose quartz.

This important stage takes place when we learn to accept and love ourselves unconditionally for who we really are. It is not until we become fully aware of the infinite power love has, that we can come to the realization that unless we truly love and respect ourselves we will never be able to love any living thing.

This stage allows us to become deserving of all the loving energy the universe has to offer and accept it to be a reality in our life.

Stage No. 2 Forgiveness & Tolerance
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the purple color and by the amethyst quartz.

In this stage we learn to forgive ourselves for any damage we allowed to enter into our lives, for any wrong we may have caused to the people we interact with and most importantly we learn to fully forgive and let go of any pain others may have caused us. Letting go of all the hurt that is within us is vital to our soul’s evolution.

Accepting others for who they are is a very basic and essential part of this process. It is imperative to make a conscious effort not to want to change others. The change must come from within us so that we can fully appreciate everyone for who they are. And as a result become the change we want to see manifested in the world outside of us.

Stage No. 3 Peace and Unity with our higher self
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the white color and the selenite crystal.

This stage of our soul is when we re-connect with our higher self and we become aware of the fact that a peaceful emotional balance is necessary to maintain a healthy, positive environment around us.

At this stage we become in touch with our divine nature and allow our inner guidance to show us the way to our life’s purpose. Learning to trust our higher self can help us go through the toughest situations in life, with the knowing that everything has a reason for being and that it will all work itself out according to our divine plan.

Stage No. 4 Liberation & Divine power
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the royal blue color and the lapis lazuli gemstone.

This stage of our soul takes place, when we liberate ourselves from all that has caused us to be slaves. Most of the time, we don’t realize that we are the only ones causing us to be “stuck” in a situation, in a relationship or in any experience for that matter.

We have the power to control our feelings and make positive changes in our lives. Coming to terms with the fact that no one else can live our life for us, is crucial in freeing ourselves from the obstacles created by our own limitations.
When we become aware of the Divine power within us, we can get all the answers and solutions to all of our life’s troubles.

Stage No. 5 Truth & Concentration
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the green color and by emeralds.

This stage of our soul occurs when we realize that the only truth is that we are destined to be happy. We are meant to live a peaceful life full of love, beauty, health and abundance; therefore, learning to focus our attention in all the perfection that exists within us, can guide us in becoming more in tune with our own inner beauty and allow it to be manifested in everything we do on a daily basis.

Our lives are full with perfect moments that we don’t seem to notice because we are too busy paying attention to the negative circumstances in our own worlds. Learning to make a conscious effort to notice the perfection around us and how everything in our lives is done in Divine order can help us live a more fulfilling life.

Stage no. 6 Grace & Abundance
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the orange/red color and by ruby crystals.

At this stage our soul maintains a state of divine grace at all times of our life. This is when we begin to rise above and maintain a calm attitude about every situation that we are faced with. This is when we learn to keep our thoughts in order so that we can take the right actions to solve any problems we encounter.

This higher state of being allows our soul to bring into our lives all the abundance that is in the universe for us to enjoy; thus the illusion of lack completely disappears. During this process we discover that we come from one Divine source and this truth sets us free of all the obstacles that get in the way of our spiritual evolution.

Stage No. 7 Enlightenment & Wisdom
This aspect of our Divine creator is represented by the color gold and by the precious gold mineral.

This is the final stage of evolution for our soul. At this stage our soul reaches the highest point of enlightenment and it finds the Nirvana state where it is capable to transcend all physical, emotional and mental boundaries; there are no limits to what can be possible and our soul becomes one with the Divine source and with all that exists.

This is the ultimate goal of our spiritual evolution but this can only be achieved once we have mastered all the different blooming stages of our soul.

Dealing with Anger

Author
Karla Solano

Anger is a very poisonous feeling that has the power to blind us; and there is nothing more harmful than to allow this emotion to take over our life. There are days in our lives when we feel as though all we get is curved balls thrown at us from all different directions, making us react quickly to the situations at hand; Thus causing us to get stressed, disturbed and frustrated. During moments like these, it’s important to recognize the cause of our anger so that we can reflect on it and allow it to be released.

It’s indispensable to get the angry emotions out of our system but it is appropriate to release them in a non-conventional way. Such as walking away from the situation or the person causing us to be annoyed and taking time to breathe and calm ourselves down before confronting the source of our emotion. Once we have allowed the anger to dissipate we can return to deal with the people or situations that upset us and communicate in a diplomatic and calm way. This is the only way to deal with the source of our anger, doing otherwise will only add more fuel to the fire and create more chaos in our existence.

Keeping angry feelings pent up inside not only blocks our clear vision but also cripples our ability to do things with love and enthusiasm. Our well being depends on our ability to keep composed when people and circumstances throw us off balance, failure to do so results in disease, war, hate and loneliness.

We have the ability to maintain a balanced emotional state of mind no matter what life throws our way. But in order to do so, it is essential to find the interconnection between us and our outside reality so that we can see beyond the physical state of mind. Therefore, being able to transcend the mundane emotions wanting to control and obstruct our personal growth.

It is necessary to realize that all the experiences we live through are momentary and just like the sun always shines after a stormy day; our life too will go back to its natural state which is calmness and joy. Whether the circumstances bring us happiness, anger, sadness, peace or chaos; these experiences will shine a new light on our developmental path, guiding us in truly discovering who we are. So learn to embrace all the emotions caused by the physical reality and take each experience and emotion as a learning measure to becoming one with yourself and with human kind.

Following our instincts

Author
Karla Solano

Many times in our lives we are put in situations where we need to make tough choices. Such moments can bring a sense of confusion, stress and vulnerability especially when we allow the people in our lives to manipulate us into making a decision.

It is human nature to always analyze things from the more logical point of view, however, it is of extreme importance to measure all the pros and cons of any particular circumstance and then take time to quiet the mind and allow the heart to guide us.

There will always be a battle between the logical mind and the gut instincts we feel deep in our heart; therefore, it is imperative to learn to discern from what our ego wants us to do versus the truth coming from our inner wisdom.

Our mind will always want to protect us from past painful experiences, which is why it is common to feel a sense of resistance towards any insight coming from within our hearts. The mind only remembers selective information about the internal issues we maybe wanting to overcome; subsequently our instincts are usually overshadowed by the strong stubbornness of our logic.

The truth is, that no matter how convincing our logical point of view may seem, there is always another part of our body that we need to pay attention to; our inner guidance. Our inner guidance is that voice within that is always whispering in our ear letting us know which path to take in life; nonetheless, we tend not to listen to this voice because it usually tells us the opposite of what our ego wants us to do.

Life could be so much easier if we allowed this inner guidance to flourish from within and direct us in the right direction. But we get in our own way, placing unnecessary obstacles that impede our happiness and ability to live a life free of suffering. Understanding that life is not meant to be difficult and that we have all the answers within to make the choices that best suits our personal growth is paramount to leading a life full of grace, peace, perfection, love and happiness.

The best way to connect with this inner wisdom is to allow time for self discovery. By this I refer to the concept of creating a sacred time and space in our lives, a place where we can be quiet and deeply unite with our higher self on a daily basis. Looking within is the only way to find a truthful answer to all of our life’s trials & tribulations.

Learn to listen to your inner guidance, for it will never steer you in the wrong direction and it will always make sure the choices you make are the best ones that will allow you to fulfill your soul’s divine purpose.

No Expectations

Author
Karla Solano

We have been conditioned from childhood to have high expectations in every experience we go through. So much so, that very often we get lost in our own perception of how everything we go through should be a certain way. This way of thinking is very tricky and it can cause a lot of disillusion, especially when things don’t go as we planned it in our minds.

As human kind, we are used to getting ahead of ourselves, our brain is always playing different scenarios; getting us all worked up by imagining how things should or shouldn’t be. This behavior distorts our reality so much that we actually cause our own suffering and distress. This suffering takes place because we allow our minds to control our emotions and blow things out of proportion; with the false conviction that people and situations will abide by our egotistical point of view.

I am sure you can recall many moments where you have made up a fairy tale story about the people in your life, simply because they had a nice gesture towards you or because they acted a certain way. So you begin to fantasize and dream about all of the possibilities of what the outcome of your relationship with them will be.

Or what about the times when you put someone in a pedestal, just to find out that they were not who “you” thought they were, even though they never gave you a reason for you to put them so high up in the sky. You still allowed your mind to get your life out of focus. Thus, causing confusion and deception; just think about it! How many times have you caught yourself being so confident about something, telling the world how you know everything is the way you perceive it, but the truth is that it is all a false reality created by your own ego.

It is important not to let our minds run wild speculating and creating unreal scenarios, because allowing this false sense of conviction is very detrimental to our well being. We are impressionable beings and as such, we need to be very careful not to live in a lie. The worst thing about allowing ourselves to have high expectations about our experiences and others is that, we tend to blame everything and everyone else when things don’t go as we expected.

It is very useful to just let life take its natural course, by getting ourselves out of our own way and allowing the Divine source to take action in each situation we are faced with. There is no need to play movie director and obstruct the rhythm of our lives. Taking this approach will make it much easier to cope with everything and everyone that come our way. Thus, helping us stop with the obsession about what the future and people hold for us. Every time you see your mind wandering away in a fairy tale story, just simply allow the thoughts to take place and slowly begin to release the need to control all the situations in your life.

One thing very important to understand is that everything happens the way it needs to. Whether we like the outcome or not is irrelevant, the essential thing to consider is that life will happen according to our divine purpose. Therefore, the universe will make sure that the experiences and people we encounter are right for us at each specific stage of our lives so that we can learn the lessons that will guide us through our personal evolution.

There are no coincidences and everything happens for a reason, so why obsess about why things are taking place the way they are? Just let them be. Sooner or later life will unfold before your eyes, revealing the truth about each experience and the people in our existence. Focusing our attention in the journey instead of the destination is the best way to let go of the need to always makeup our own ending to the story of our lives.

The race against time

Author
Karla Solano

We live in a world where time is the main ruler of our existence on this planet. We are always running against it, causing us to be in a state of frenzy at all times. We function at such an accelerated rate that most of the time we are put in situations where we need to be reactive instead of being proactive. This fight against time has caused human kind to forget how to stop and enjoy the quiet times that come our way.

Our demanding environment and battle against time are affecting every aspect of our lives. We have become accustomed to living in such a state of neurosis caused by the stress of never having enough time to do the things we need to do at work and our personal experiences. This constant race is self destructive and it is a bomb ticking threatening to explode and throw our mind, body and spirit off balance.

Time is an illusion of our physical existence; created by our need to control and impede human kind’s spiritual evolution, an illusion that is ruled by self imposed limitations. Although we cannot stop the minutes and the seconds, we have control over how we can make the illusion of time work for us.The only way to make it work for us is by slowing down and taking time to breathe and enjoy each second with awareness, being open to the idea that rushing can only bring stress and heart problems, depriving us of the gift to live the present moment in a balanced and harmonious way.

Haven’t you noticed that when you do things in a rush, there are always mistakes taking place? And what about the misunderstandings, the anger, fatigue and frustrations that come along with this race against time? Have you stopped to wonder if it’s worth all the aggravations? When you can easily choose to quiet your mind daily to take the time to calmly manage your priorities, and breathe properly while getting all of your tasks done.If you have never tried it then it is time to start.

Living in a state of emergency only creates more chaos and does not help with getting things done faster or better. It only makes things worse. Life is too precious so do not waste your life resisting time and rushing against it. There is always enough time to get everything accomplished, especially when you realize that we are infinite beings; and as infinite beings, we have the capability to transcend any physical limitation such as time. How amazing is it to come to terms with the idea that we have the power within us to beat the external obstacles that time constraints present to us every day? You are probably wondering how this can be possible, since time is very real in our physical reality.

Well, all I can say is that the only way to transcend the limitations that time causes is through seeking the answers from within our soul; connecting deeply with all that exists within. Our lives will become expressions of daily miracles when we start to focus in all the perfection and graceful divine order in which our lives unfold; there is no illusion of time and space when we allow our inner guidance to flow through us, showing us the way. This limitation slowly begins to dissipate. Thus, freeing us from the tie that binds our soul to this dual reality in which we live in.

Loving who we are

Author
Karla Solano

We live in a society reigned by superficial gratification; and it seems as though we have become so obsessed with the idea of eternal youth and with the supermodel syndrome that we have lost the perception of what beauty really is. Unfortunately, this obsession with our physical appearance is constantly being fueled by magazines, the media and our everyday environment.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to maintain a younger look; therefore, taking care of our bodies through daily exercise, eating healthy foods and keeping a balanced state of mind is key to a healthy living. However, we have become so entangled in the fierce less competition about who can have the most plastic surgeries; that we have a distorted point of view when it comes down to our idea of what beauty actually is.

The perfection we seek in our outside reality will never be able to give us the long term satisfaction we long for because anything that comes from our exterior world will always be a momentary thing and it will eventually deteriorate.

Accepting and loving ourselves shouldn’t be this difficult and becoming dependent on a doctor to alter the way we look is not normal and it goes against the laws of nature. I know this is a sensitive topic and most people would not want to hear it; but I must say that perfection, beauty and eternal youth already exist within our being. When you allow your inner beauty, and happiness to radiate through you, there is no limit as to how young, radiant and beautiful you can look.

It is a proven fact; our external appearance is a window that can reveal how we feel deep inside. If your life has become dull, empty and sad, you will send signals of imperfection and unattractiveness. On the other hand, if you lead a happy, loving life you will radiate beautiful energy and no matter what your physical body type is, people will find you beautiful and will want to have you in their lives.

The truth is that we are eternal beings and as such, we contain within us the key to eternal youth, perfect beauty and the healing power to restore our own health. This is a privilege we have inherited from our divine creator; but unless we start connecting with that inner, divine essence, we will never be able to access all of these amazing gifts

Searching within is the only way to unlock these truths; through meditation and self discovery we will not only be able to find the truth about our existence but also we will be able to unveil the beauty and perfection we have forgotten about in the depths of our soul.

Tips on how to unlock the key:

1) Allow the beauty within to radiate through you, instead of focusing on the external and perishable appearance

2) Be kind, loving and compassionate towards others

3) Lead a harmonious life and always see the positive side to every experience

4) Do not take yourself or life so seriously, find the time to laugh. I cannot emphasize it enough. Laughter is what keeps our soul alive, and our bodies healthy and young. So don’t’ ever stop finding a reason to laugh

5) Create an emotionally balanced environment for yourself

6) Be good to your body since it is a sacred temple which carries the soul

7) Make a conscious effort to feed your body properly, without filling it up with toxins

8) Live with awareness by taking time to notice how perfect and beautiful you are deep down inside, even if your looks are not measuring up to society’s distorted standards of perfection

9) Stop judging yourself and others.

Exploring our creative self

Author
Karla Solano

We as human beings are born with the ability to express ourselves creatively; this ability empowers us to be co-creators with our divine source in a world where there is a need for constant change. This need for change allows us to bring forth new ways to envision our physical reality. Thus, bringing forth ideas conceived from a divine inspiration.

Take the concept of the telephone for example, this idea sprung from the need to communicate with others who lived in faraway places. Or the airplanes, which became part of society as the need to fly became a dream for one person. These are just a few examples of how we as society, have been re-inventing the way we live by just having one dream, one divine idea.

Divine thoughts are flowing through our brain every second of our day but our lack of awareness makes it almost impossible for these ideas to be retained or even noticed by our mind. This lack of awareness is an obstacle that impedes our connection with our co-creating essence.

Allowing the flow of divine energy through our being is essential to living a life full of creative potential. It is imperative that we make an effort to discover innovative ways to create by expanding our vision of perfection. One of the ways to manifest creativity is through meditation.

Meditation is a very powerful way to integrate thought and body. Thus, expanding the connection with all the perfection and creativity contained in the universe. This expansion also enables us to reach a higher state of awareness, making it easy to manifest our ideas into our physical world.

Do not obstruct the flow of this energy, which is essential to the evolution of your soul; Make an effort to connect daily with your Divine essence so that you too can become a chalice of Divine inspiration and creativity.

Making our dreams a reality

Author
Karla Solano

There comes a point in our lives when the day to day routine gets under our skin and we start to feel like it’s time for a change. Whether it has to do with our personal life or in our career; the energy becomes stagnant and we find no satisfaction in anything we do.

During moments like these, we start to ponder on the idea of freeing ourselves from whatever is making us feel out of place and keeping us from reaching our dreams.
I have found that something vey interesting takes place when the heart starts to consider the idea of independence, no matter if it has to do with freeing oneself from a relationship, a job, or a financial burden; the mind tends to visualize all the possible scenarios as to how we can make our dreams a reality and also it can very easily come up with many reasons as to why we shouldn’t go after our dreams.

This process of visualization is a very important one, because not only does it allow us to plan how we would like the situations to be, but it also gives us a way to figure out the pros and cons of our new idea. During this process, it is important to unite our heart’s desire with our analytical mind since our heart will always push us to follow our instincts and go after what could bring us happiness; while the mind will always try to tie us down, instigating fear and causing us to doubt whether or not our idea is worth our while.

There will always be a tug of war between the analytical mind and the passion from our heart. As a result, causing confusion and making it very hard for us to find the courage to take the risks we need in order to follow through with our dreams. Allowing our mind to control our heart’s desire to go after our dreams creates a feeling of worry, uncertainty and instability. Thus, making us get in our own way and blocking any possibility to be happy and free.

Realizing that we are the only ones that can limit our horizons is one way to approach the fears that arise within our minds. We could be our biggest fans or our worst enemies; therefore, it is necessary to allow the mind to let out all its worries but at the same time it is crucial to take the time to feel what is right for us to do.

Life is a challenging journey but it doesn’t mean that we need to be tied to a situation, a job or a person that could be stopping us from becoming a fulfilled being. Instead, take time to see beyond the physical experiences at hand, trust your heart’s desire to give you the freedom and happiness you deserve and allow your dreams to become a reality in your life. Take the risk and go after the life you always envisioned, because no one else can live your life, except for yourself.

Life is made up of dreams, without them we could become dull and empty. So don’t rob yourself from the opportunity to have a wonderful life.

Confronting our fears

Author
Karla Solano

Fear is the paralyzing feeling that creates blockages in our lives; it keeps us from submerging into experiencing life to the fullest. There are many occasions when the fear is caused by a past traumatic experience, and we feel that we are too vulnerable to allow situations in our life that can bring us back to a moment in time when we were hurt. Other times, this feeling of anxiety may take place because we are worried about the unknown, creating a sense of helplessness and distress.

Sometimes, we have no idea what maybe causing us to be so afraid, we just get so worked up and want to run away from experiences that make us uncomfortable.
Letting fear take over our lives is not healthy for us, it actually disrupts our mental and emotional well being; creating unbalance in the flow of our life.

It is necessary to observe and look deep within to find out the root of our worries. It is very important to find the courage to confront our fears and learn to heal the pain caused by them; otherwise we will deprive ourselves from experiencing life in complete harmony and joy.

Analyzing ourselves should occur when we sense the fear coming on; allow the fear to take place, breathe deeply, and try to maintain a calm attitude towards the issue at hand.
Whenever I’ve felt fear creeping up out of nowhere, I have found it helpful to focus on things that cause me to be at peace. Creating a peaceful mind set has guided me through some of the toughest times of my life, especially when I’ve felt crippled by my own emotions of limitation and vulnerability.

We have the power within to change anything that causes unbalance in our lives; therefore, taking time to meditate on why we feel afraid is of extreme importance if we want to conquer over our feelings of helplessness and anxiety.

Conquering over these feelings of helplessness can only be achieved by being compassionate and loving with ourselves. Keep in mind that fear is just a feeling created by our minds and when we realize that the cause of our battles is not coming from external sources, we can alter that feeling into love, acceptance and courage.

Nothing in this lifetime is invariable; we as human beings are constantly going through transformation and internal growth; therefore, being kind to ourselves and having confidence that we are on this earth to grow and learn from our day to day experiences, can guide us in finding the courage to deal with the most unpleasant feelings coming from deep within our souls.

The lack of human touch

Author
Karla Solano

Our lives are like the ocean, full of energy and emotion. Sometimes the tide is high and full of rage and other times the tide is very still and peaceful. Just like the ocean, our emotions may have us go on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, especially when we feel lonely.

Loneliness is a feeling of not belonging, a feeling of being out of place in a world full of people where no one seems to connect with us the way we need them to.

We've all had moments where we feel as though there is nobody who can understand what we are going through, but the reality is that nowadays there are lots of people seeing therapists to help them cope with depression and loneliness.

I have always wondered how in today’s society one can avoid feeling lonely when technology keeps creating new ways for the human touch to be less and less possible. I grew up in an era where if you needed to talk to someone you would either stop by their place with the hope that the person would be home or would pick up the phone to make a call and actually have a conversation with another human being.

In today’s world however, if you want to find out how someone is doing or if they are available to hang out, all you do is type up a text message with short sentences or in some cases there is just abbreviation to the words. I find this very disheartening.

While I think it’s great that we have become so advanced in the past 10 yrs with new technology, I feel that as a human race we have taken many steps back towards isolating ourselves from one another; thus, creating the feeling of loneliness, depression and the need to depend on antidepressants just to fill the void of not having the human touch needed to survive as a race.

We should follow the examples nature has to offer when it comes to bonding with others. The female lion pack always stays together; when they are hunting, the female lions take turns to ensure the cubs are safe and sound and they guard each other fearlessly in the face of danger; take the penguins for example, the male penguins are the ones in charge of keeping the eggs warm during the rough winter season. The male penguins gather together in a very tight circle, to seal their collective body heat during the toughest months of winter to protect their eggs from being hatched prematurely.

It is incredible to watch how these creatures that apparently have no rational like human kind does, are more capable of showing love, warmth and compassion for their fellow animal kind. We have so much to learn from nature and it is sad to know that we have become so egotistical as to believe that by posting a picture of ourselves on the net and e-mail or text each other as a form of bonding with each other, is enough not to interact with others in person. Call me old fashioned, but I still believe in paying a visit to a friend and picking up the phone just to hear the voice of the people I care about.

We as human beings need to make an effort to make this world a better place to live in, especially when the rate of abandoned babies, violence and the trauma being caused to children of divorced parents, is not getting any smaller. All of these issues are created by the lack of love and attention we display for one another.

It all starts with the foundation we form in our family unit, if as parents we don’t teach our children how to love, and how to interact with others on a one to one basis, this world will be an empty, dark and lonely place. And I feel anguish just thinking about what it will be like for the next generations to come, unless we make an effort to have the human touch be an essential part of our existence.

Trusting the people in our life

Author
Karla Solano

I have noticed that we, as a human race, have a tendency to stereotype each other in an unfair and negative way. This inclination to typecast others maybe due to an unpleasant incident someone may have put us through at one point in our lives. However, it is important to keep in mind that we are all individuals with different personalities and it is not fair to judge and distrust others based on the damage one person may have caused us.

We have all experienced pain from someone we cared about, but that shouldn’t stop us from being able to trust people ever again. While it is true that we don’t ever want to allow anyone to take advantage of us or play with our emotions; it is necessary to keep an open heart towards the new people who come into our lives, so that we don’t miss the opportunity to allow good-hearted individuals in our worlds.

There is a lot to be learned from painful experiences caused by others; I can only speak from personal experience, but I have found out that the pain people have caused me in the past, has allowed me to discover amazing things about myself that I never knew I was capable of doing.

I learned how patient and tolerant I was for putting up with non-sense for a long period of time. I also figured out that no matter how submerged we are in a relationship, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, waiting to show us how wonderful life is even when we think our life would end if we were to leave that person.

One of the biggest lessons I discovered was that no matter how much anguish I experienced, I was able to fully forgive all the damage caused to me. Forgiveness has been the most fundamental feeling I had to encounter and although it wasn’t easy at times, I realized that without forgiveness there is no way to move on from the negative experiences we endure.

The universe will always bring people and situations into our life that will turn our worlds upside down, but this in no way should be an excuse to keep a grudge towards everyone else who had nothing to do with the true source of our pain.

Learning to forgive those who harmed us is paramount to releasing any feelings of hate, distrust, resentment and disgust. All of these negative feelings towards others only hinder our ability to free ourselves from pain and it puts a wall in between us and the truth to be manifested in our lives; a truth which can only bring peace, love and happiness.

Learn to live with an open heart, ready to embrace the new people and circumstances that come into your life. Free yourself from the need to hold onto the suffering caused by the inability to forgive others. And open yourself up to love and be loved again, because life is too short to waste it with feelings of apprehension and doubt about the intentions people may have.

Patience

Author
Karla Solano

The definition of patience refers to the ability to tolerate and maintain serenity when faced with difficult situations or people. Now, we all know how hard this could be especially when the people we interact with on a daily basis have tough personalities.

I have found through personal experience, that the best way to deal with complicated individuals is to try to accept them for who they are, listen to what they have to say and take everything with a grain of salt. This is easier said than done, but maintaining a calm attitude towards people who give us a hard time is the only way to be able to manage a relationship with them without creating a chaotic experience in our lives.

There is a reason why these individuals are the way they are, and we have no idea what goes on in their lives that may cause them to be so unhappy and insecure. Instead of trying to resist these people, let’s try to understand them, and love them for who they are deep inside.

We are all connected in a much higher level; therefore we need to be able to see beyond their physical actions and realize that they too, are divine beings and whatever makes them so complex is due to the fact that they are also in a process of spiritual evolution just like you and I, so their actions may be a way to call attention to the lack of something in their lives, it could be lack of love, friends, or health.

Another reason why people may act difficult could be because of the way we are towards them, analyzing our actions could be paramount to figuring out why we don’t get along with others. The people around us are reflections of who we are inside; there are many things we have hidden within and the people around us tend to mirror the personality traits we despise about ourselves.

Whatever the cause may be its irrelevant, the important thing is to let go of our ego, be the bigger person and have patience with us and with others.

Patience is said to be a virtue, because it is one of the toughest things to have but it doesn’t have to be an impossible task to accomplish. We don’t have to like people’s actions or their attitudes, just allowing them to be without resistance, embracing them with a loving attitude is the only way we can be.

This loving and caring attitude will launch a wave of positive energy in our environment, and it won’t be long before we can start to notice that the lack of negative reaction from our part will only increase the chances for others to change for the better. Thus, enabling us to get along.

Releasing our emotions

Author
Karla Solano

Living in a demanding environment such as the one we live today, can influence our daily behavior. Nothing holds more true to the fact that we are beings prone to react in an emotional way to every experience we have. Therefore, situations sometimes get out of hand because of the way we respond.

This way of reacting has to do with all the emotional “baggage” we have accumulated inside of us throughout most of our lives. This “baggage “as I call it, becomes a nuisance because most of the time we are not aware of all the pain and resentment we have locked up inside of us. We tend to block our pain and hide it somewhere in our hearts so that it can’t hurt us anymore; Thus, giving us the false belief of moving on.

The reality is, that keeping all of these painful memories inside can cause more harm than good; such resentments can be very detrimental, causing disease in our bodies, mental and physiological unbalance and will most definitely affect the way we interact with others.
One of the best ways to deal with our pain is to allow ourselves to let it out. Simply put, give yourself the time to heal your wounds, reserve a time when you can be alone and fully submerge in your emotions.

Cry if you feel the need to do so, or write about how you feel, keeping a journal is a great way to let out the emotions held inside without feeling judged. It is important to be compassionate with our selves when taking time to heal. Our body has a natural rhythm of healing and it cannot be accelerated by our stubborn way of suppressing how we feel inside. Being loving and caring with ourselves is the best way to connect with our true nature and recognize the healing potential we posses within.

Free yourself from the emotional residue you have been holding onto, and learn to embrace life with a warm and healing attitude. Because it is not until we heal ourselves that we are able to see change in the world around us.

Allowing love into our lives

Love is a feeling that has the power to elevate our soul to a place of pure bliss; being in love is a powerful tool that can touch and transform our lives and the lives of those we connect deeply with, into a place of joy and harmony.

Allowing love into our lives should not be a difficult process however, it seems as though we sometimes allow our past negative experiences to stop us from giving ourselves fully and freely to this wonderful feeling. It is true that sometimes love can cause us pain and leave a very bitter taste in our lives but embracing every experience we have whether is pain or happiness can only enrich our spiritual growth.

Learning to accept each occurrence in our daily lives as an opportunity to give love and to forgive is paramount to transcending to a higher level of being.
Accepting people for who they truly are without wanting to change them is a way to love and as difficult as this may seem it is the only way to reach peace in this world.

Focusing on the pure and perfect inner child hidden within each person we encounter instead of drawing our attention to the external expression of their personalities, can help us connect with them in a higher realm of existence. Thus, allowing us to forgive and free ourselves from any karma that may bind us in a negative way to them.

Forgiveness is essential in any relationship and no matter how much someone may have hurt us, without forgiveness our souls become full of resentment, hate, destruction and emptiness which in no way is this beneficial to our well being. Letting go of the pain a loved one has caused us is one of the toughest things to do but the most important of all if we are to allow ourselves to give and accept love back into our lives without the fear of getting hurt again.

Life is too short to live in fear of being hurt, instead cherish all the loving moments you experience and give yourself fully and freely to this amazing feeling of pure bliss. Because as The Beatles once sang “All you need is Love…All you need is Love, All you need is Love, Love, Love, Love is all you need.”

So keep on loving without regrets and without prejudice because we are all one.

Letting go of control

Author
Karla Solano

The society we live in has a way of influencing human kind in becoming very competitive in order to get ahead. This approach to life is a sword of double edge; while it is necessary to take charge of our lives so that we may accomplish success in our careers and in our studies, it is important not to get caught up in a cycle where we feel the need to be controlling. Human kind has a tendency to take everything to an extreme.

We become so obsessed with the concept of “making it” in the material world that we lose track of what is really important such as family, friends, and our well being. How many times have we gotten so caught up in getting ahead in our career, spending endless hours at our job that we even forgot what is like to come home for dinner to a spouse and children? Or what about the times when the stress of our job takes over causing our hearts to malfunction or an ulcer to appear? Unfortunately, we have become so accustomed to controlling our lives in such a way that we self destruct.

There is a natural process that takes place in life; everything has an order of being. Therefore, no matter how fast paced our life becomes; our body is wise enough to shut down when we are overworking ourselves, forcing us to slow down. Failing to pay attention to the wisdom within our bodies can result in the collapsing of our body, the disharmony in the relationships with our loved ones and the unhappiness in our surroundings.

The only upside to becoming run down is that we may start to wonder if in fact wanting to control every aspect of our lives is worth getting sick and losing our family over. Life is too precious to let it go by without taking time to really enjoy the things we work so hard for.

Do not get trapped in a way of living that can only justify your means to make money which offers no spiritual reward. Instead, look within and recognize that our lives are already provided for by a higher being and if we allow this abundance to flow from within, it can be manifested in our physical world.

Just look around you, sit in a park and watch as the birds find food to feed their offspring and themselves, or how the trees and flowers blossom every spring rejuvenating after feeding from the rain and the sun’s energy. Aren’t we as a human race as important as the nature surrounding us, to be provided for by this higher being? Think about it!

I know we live in a world governed by greed and power, but that should not stop us from trying to look beyond what is physical to find abundance, love and well being in a higher plane of existence. Because there is a lot more than what they eye can see and it is waiting to be discovered when we decide to open ourselves to receiving it.

Allowing the natural flow of life

Author
Karla Solano

There are no words to express the peace we can experience when we allow the current to take its course. We are so used to taking the bull by its horns that we tend to put obstacles in our own lives by not allowing things to just be.

It is our nature to feel the need to control our destiny, but there are times when situations arise and we have no control over the outcome. In times like these, we need to learn to let go and accept the fact that life must take its course. Just like a river keeps flowing whether the current gets rough or whether rocks get in the way, it never stops until it reaches its final destination-the ocean-.

We too must let our experiences take us through the journey of life. Trusting that each moment lived no matter how joyful or painful it may be, will enrich our existence and help us grow in ways never thought possible.

Allowing life to follow its natural flow will not only make our lives easier but it will also help us find creative ways to work with the way things are, instead of working against it.

Seek for all the answers to your troubles within your self. We are one with our Divine source therefore; all you want is already at your reach if you stop looking for them outside of yourself.

Being happy with where we are in life

Author
Karla Solano

There are times in our lives when we begin to question if whether or not where we are in life is the right place for us. This may come to us in subtle ways, such as dissatisfaction in our work place, we may feel like our career choice is not fulfilling any purpose, or it could just be that the relationships present in our lives are not making us happy anymore.

When we begin to question all of these things is because we are reaching a turning point in our lives; we have come across a need to reach for something more rewarding than the physical and start to look for experiences that will give us a sense of higher purpose.

It is important to allow all the feelings of discontent to come to the surface and reflect on why we are feeling the way we do. Opening our hearts and embracing these thoughts in a loving manner can be of guidance to finding our purpose. We all have a reason for being where we are, and connecting with that truth can reveal insight as to how we can bring happiness and fulfillment back into our world.

No matter how frustrated we get with the way our life is going, we can always count on the fact that we belong right where we are. I know this may not be what we want to hear, but acknowledging the concept that there is a bigger picture and due to our evolutionary process we can only see part of that picture, can aid us in dealing with our life with a greater sense of being. There are no coincidences just divine patterns and every challenge we encounter and every person we meet can become a great opportunity to learn about ourselves.

Life is full of signs waiting for us to notice them. But if we don’t open our hearts and start reaching for the answers within the depth of our being, we will never be able to see with clarity. Discover the truth in your life by stilling the mind, find time to quiet your thoughts daily to reach the guidance you seek and find the purpose you long for.
